Women in Fitness Association partnership headed up by CMO, Kirsty Angove

As part of our mission to champion diversity and equality in the fitness industry and within our organisation, we have partnered with the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA) to provide a suite of training, events and ongoing support to empower female leaders and franchise partners across our organisation.

The partnership sees WIFA support TRIB3 with developmental resources and expert training including free L.E.A.D programme spaces for female leaders across the business, grants that allow free WIFA membership for franchise partners and support team members and networking and educational events. The L.E.A.D programme is a 13-week personal development course focusing on intrinsic motivation and culminating in the completion of a personal purpose statement and now forms a key part of TRIB3’s suite of leadership training.

Chief Marketing Officer for TRIB3, Kirsty Angove, is also a Global Ambassador for WIFA. She says of the collaboration: “I am delighted that we have forged a long-term partnership with WIFA to provide our female leaders and franchise partners with ongoing support and resources to further advance their development and connect them with other amazing women across the world. TRIB3 is committed to making the fitness industry a more inclusive and equal place for all; whether that’s with our wider communities, our TRIB3Rs or our teams – and I am personally committed to empowering more female leaders to soar personally and professionally. There are still too few women in senior management roles in our industry, so organisationally we are committed to building platforms to elevate and champion women in leadership and female business owners, creating resources to nurture future female leaders and partnering with organisations like WIFA that are driving real change.”

WIFA is a global not-for-profit association created as a platform and a voice for women to champion one another, working together with its members to create a diverse and inclusive future for the fitness industry. ‘Partnerships like this are crucial to bringing more women into our global community and empowering female leaders.’ Says WIFA’s Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Halsall-de Wit. ‘We’ve got a lot of work to do in the fitness sector, there’s some old programming we’ve got to shelve, norms to reset and barriers to shatter. We are so proud to partner with TRIB3, an inspiring and dynamic company, so passionate about putting energy and resources behind these initiatives. Together, we’re committed to connect more people with their purpose and to take big steps towards more diversity, equity and inclusion work in the fitness sector. ”
